Why Stay Here?
Launched in December 2019, the hotel is the only true ski-in/ski-out luxury property in Val D’Isere. It is superbly situated at the Place de Neige in the very centre of the village, positioned directly at the base of the slopes at an altitude of 1,850m surrounded by nature with panoramic mountain range views. Guests can travel to and from the hotel from the airport and be whisked around the resort in Tesla cars with a private chauffeur.
Airelles Val d’Isère is the epitome of medieval chic and imbues the aristocratic elegance of a historic stately home, alongside a Haute Epoque contemporary style. Its audacious interiors feature monuments, ornately carved wooden staircases, fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and antique furniture and artwork collected from across France. The cosy lobby is dominated by an extraordinary Dutch style old pewter chandelier. The landmark building has been reborn with 41 keys, including 9 suites and 5 private penthouses, complete with their own dedicated butler. The sumptuous individually designed rooms all have balconies or terraces, a Hammam shower and mountain views. In 2023, the hotel launched the new 250 sq.m, four-bedroom Chalet Schuss, a ski-in, ski-out chalet situated next to the hotel featuring panoramic views of the ski slopes, four spacious bedrooms with their own bathroom and dressing room, a kitchen with a private chef available on request and a dedicated butler.
Guests of Airelles Val d’Isère are able to savour indulgent cuisine across five restaurants. The much-loved La Grand Oursesituated in the heart of the village next to the hotel’s main building displays a new design and celebratory atmosphere, serving typical Savoyard cuisine including fondue, raclette or the iconic dessert, Bolet de Solaise. In the afternoon, La Grande Ourse is the perfect family spot for lunch with a large sunny terrace and cosy interior. In the evening, is is the place-to-be for dinners and dancing. In 2021, the hotel unveiled LOULOU Val d’Isère, the first Alpine outpost of the Paris institution. Guests can enjoy the creative cuisine of Chef Benoit Dargère with a menu featuring strong Italian influences, straight from the Piémont Valle and Lombardy. Its wrap-around 800 sq.m terrace boasts uninterrupted views of the Bellevarde and Solaise peaks and is the perfect après ski spot, complete with individual fire pits, a menu of warming cocktails and live DJ sets.
The 1,200 sq.m serene Guerlain Spa is one of the largest spas in Val D’Isere and boasts natural daylight throughout all areas and a large stunning pool set within the rocks, lined with arcades and a natural juice bar.
Perfect for families, the hotel features a large kids kingdom based on Merlin and the enchanted forest, and a separate children’s area in the Spa called ‘The Grotto’. Airelles Val d’Isère has created the Airelles Winter Camp, entirely designed with children in mind.
