The resort comprises six different types of luxurious, comfortable villas cocooned within natural surrounds, each constructed in a way that is reminiscent of the country’s colonial heritage yet aglow with the trends of modernity. Maradiva offers guests majestic yet elegant living spaces across 64 one- and two-bedroom villas. Each villa looks out onto its own private heated pool and has been renovated to reflect the serenity of the natural world, constructed using wood, hammered bronzes and intricately woven textiles. Whether you choose the Luxury Pool Suite or the Presidential Suite, they are all carefully designed to provide a sanctuary-like space where guests can truly unwind.

Maradiva has four exceptional restaurants serving refined Mauritian, Mediterranean, fusion Indian and traditional Japanese cuisines, as well as local dishes and seafood exclusively curated using fresh produce from the ocean and kitchen garden. The Cilantro Indian Restaurant is elegant yet relaxed, where guests can delight in authentic Indian food and design. In The Cassine Gourmet Restaurant, with its rustic double-height wooden ceiling, a flavoursome blend of Mauritian and Mediterranean dishes are served. In contrast, the Haiku Japanese Restaurant takes on theatrical dining. Here, a private setting is also available in the Asian dining cove, where the Sashimi-based menu is given an exciting twist. A more laidback approach to dining is taken at the Beach House Grill, which is sheltered under the comforting canopy of an indigenous tree. If you fancy a cocktail against a scenic backdrop, the Latana Bar boasts the best sunset views on the island and offers an assortment of delicious drinks crafted by expert mixologists. In-villa dining can also be arranged. For even more choice, the hotel offers an exciting dine-around option at Sands Suites Resort and Spa’s three restaurants. The hotel’s Cellar displays an impressive range of 3,000 cigars from all over the world.
