Why Stay Here?
The stylish, award-winning ten-room boutique hotel sits in the heart of the beautifully bucolic Lech. Hotel Aurelio has repeatedly welcomed guests seeking pepper-collection’s intuitive gracious service, exceptional cuisine – courtesy of charismatic local chef Roland Auer – and relaxed approach to wellness at its Alpine inspired spa sanctuary.
It comprises interiors thoughtfully designed by architects Mlinaric, Henryand Zervudachi, and is bedecked with over 150 photographs by British photographer Tim Hall. Aurelio’s spacious and modern ambiance creates the feeling of being at home. The individually styled rooms and suites tastefully combine modern elegance with alpine charm.
The Aurelio Spa comprises a thermal suite, which includes several saunas, aromatherapy steam rooms, an herbal & floral bath, experience showers, a cold plunge pool and a relaxation area. The revitalizing bar awaits with fresh fruit, assorted teas, and healthy snacks. Classic, medical, and deep tissue massages, facial and body treatments, peelings and packing treatments, muscle-soothing massages and partner treatments are offered in the treatment rooms. There is also a beauty salon, fitness studio with state-of-the-art equipment and a personal coach, an indoor 23m pool, as well as a Jacuzzi, extensive thermal suite and a quiet relaxation space.
The hotel’s kitchen – under the direction of new executive chef Roland Auer – creates outstanding traditional and international dishes that vary on a daily basis and can be enjoyed on the sun terrace, with captivating views of the distinctive mountain landscape surrounding Lech. In addition to à la carte dishes, daily recommendations and special dietary requirements are catered for.
A stone’s throw from Hotel Aurelio, Aurelio Club & Chalet has ample space for those seeking the best of both worlds – complete privacy but access to all the facilities of the hotel. It offers two suites, six double rooms, a spacious living room featuring an open fireplace and a library, as well as two sun terraces. Guests staying there can sample Chef Auer’s culinary delights, whether on-site at the restaurant or in-house at the chalet. Half board means a selection of seasonal a la carte dishes to a ten-course fine-dining tasting menu. Special underground access leads chalet dwellers directly to Hotel Aurelio’s spa area or guests have the option to remain ensconced in their own private wellness area complete with an 18m pool, sauna, steam room and treatment areas. A Steinway piano for impromptu musical repertoires, a cinema and a library complete the offering. A personalised butler service is available on request.
A neighbouring herd of curious Alpacas provides a happy-making attraction, whilst the team has curated a menu of experiences that make the most of the region.
