Capelongue is a hamlet situated on the edge of the Claparèdes plateau that enjoys an enchanting panorama across Petit Luberon and the belltowers, rooftops and ramparts of Bonnieux, an authentic hilltop village at the heart of the Luberon Golden Triangle. Situated around a traditional square, this Provençal enclave celebrates local events, artist residences and festivals of gastronomy and craftsmanship. The estate is 50km from Avignon Airport and 80km from Marseille Marignane Airport and is part of the Beaumier collection.

Opening onto the garden, swimming pool or offering breathtaking views over the Petit Luberon and the village of Bonnieux, the 16 rooms and suites are exceptional spaces that offer a unique experience of Provence favouring comfort, aesthetics and privacy. Books can be found in all rooms, and a selection provided by the Librairie du Palais in Arles can be found in the library at the back of Café Capelongue.

Capelongue has two terroir-to-table restaurants serving French and Mediterranean cuisine – gastronomic one Michelin-starred La Bastide and the lively Le Café Capelongue. Chef Noël Bérard uses home-grown fruits, vegetables and aromatic plants from the hotel’s gardens to create an evolving contemporary menu of unique delicacies. Newly renovated restaurant, Bergerie, reopened in 2024.

In May 2024, the hotel opened its newly designed spa with the French cosmetic laboratory Biologique Recherche. Nestled in the heart of olive groves and lavender fields, this new 300 sq.m haven of well-being features three treatment rooms including one double, a Roman bath, cryogenic bath, Hammam and fitness centre.

Guests can relax outdoors in natural surrounds with a leisurely swim in the pool, an open-air yoga session in the beautiful gardens or a game of pétanque accompanied by a Provençal aperitif. The surrounding countryside is waiting to be explored with bike trails, olive groves, vineyard and lavender field tours, canoeing, kayaking and horse-riding available nearby.
