Opened in 2014, The Beaumont is an independent privately-owned hotel occupying a fine Art Deco building on a quiet garden square close to the boutiques, galleries and museums of Mayfair, St James’s and the West End. Inspired by the hotels of the 1920s, it is grand in style with an air of old-world aesthetic and values, yet intimate and welcoming, with the ease of having the latest technology. It has an established reputation for thoughtful, friendly service and has won many accolades, including being one of the top 10 London Hotels 2021 by Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards and by Conde Nast Traveller’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

To kick-start 2024, The Beaumont has completed its comprehensive three-year refurbishment and expansion, which has seen the addition of a new 29-room extension and the refurbishment of all other guest rooms, restaurants and bars in the original hotel – including the five-bedroom penthouse suite, the Roosevelt. The updates, overseen by renowned New York designer Thierry Despont, subtly enhance the hotel’s Art Deco style, with custom-made furniture and an entirely new array of classic and contemporary artworks in each room.

The hotel’s glamorous Colony Grill Room is a firm favourite on the London dining scene, while Le Magritte Bar, the hotel’s all-day ‘American bar’ serves classic cocktails and stylish snacks. The new Gatsby Room is a relaxed intimate spot to enjoy afternoon tea, light dining and drinks to the sound of live piano music and the outdoor Terrace, sheltered by lush greenery with views of Brown Hart Gardens, offers al-fresco seating.

In March 2024, the hotel opened a new wing featuring three private dining rooms, to include two new rooms – the Sargent Room and the Munnings Room, and the original Lotos Room, which has also been refurbished. They will offer multiple options for weddings, private parties and business events. The Lotos Room comfortably accommodates up to 45 for a seated meal and 60 for a standing reception.

The elegant Spa has benefited from the enlargement of the gymnasium and the addition of an extra treatment room, taking the total to four. It offers a wide range of relaxing and regenerative treatments.
