The 9 homely rooms, apartments, duplexes and houses at Le Galinier are dressed with antique Provençal furniture and artisanal fabrics, and vast windows invite guests to admire the unspoiled surroundings. La Maison du Chef is a spacious 150 sq. house, that is ideal for a family or group of friends for up to 6 people. It comprises 3 bedrooms spread over three floors, 3 bathrooms with shower or bathtub, a seating area with fireplace, large and equipped kitchen, dining room, desk and a private garden.

Behind its walls, Le Galinier delights with a heated swimming pool, a pétanque court, kitchens and fragrant landscaped grounds – sage, myrtle and rosemary bring their fragrances to the entrance, lavender, santolina and immortelle flourish by the pool and roses and verbena thrive on the terraces by the bastide. Guests can enjoy a dip in the pool and individual sessions at the hotel with a personal trainer, as well as joining in a game of pétanque, a tea dance, yoga or a fitness class – all with views of Petit Luberon.

A traditional spread for breakfast can be enjoyed in the peaceful garden. It is an easy stroll to the nearby grocery shop, Les Commissions, to get a coffee, local specialities, fruit, sandwiches, pastries and regional wines – for a picnic or evening meal to savour back at the bastide.

Guests can step outside to experience the traditional lifestyle of Luberon and the region’s beautiful countryside – the bluish green garrigue landscape, dry-stone walls, cypress alleys and meandering rivers. Delight in the sun-kissed facades and bustling streets of Loumarin, enhanced by the vibrant Friday market or embark on an adventure through the picturesque countryside trails with bicycles, which are available to hire. The hotel can arrange horse-riding, cultural visits, vineyard and lavender field tours, as well as exhilarating canoeing and kayaking excursions.
