L’Alpaga is a quiet hamlet of 10 chalets showcasing the traditional architecture of Megève. The property comprises 26 contemporary rooms spread across three authentic Alpine chalets with large bay windows, 7 independent suites – each with one to three bedrooms and a private balcony/terrace – in one dedicated chalet, and 6 luxury chalets featuring large living-rooms with fireplaces, fully equipped modern kitchens, laundry rooms, private gardens and large south-facing terraces with impressive views of Mont Blanc.

The cuisine is inspired by the locality and region of Savoy with delicious Alpine flavours being served at one Michelin-starred gastronomic La Table de L’Alpaga with Head Chef Alexandre Baule at the helm, the traditional lounge – Le Bistrot de L’Alpaga, ideal for lunch, an informal dinner and evening cocktails, and within the relaxed atmosphere of Le Bar de L’Alpaga. At La Table de L’Alpaga, plants take pride of place with many ingredients being sourced directly from the property’s garden.

Decked with refined stone and wooden decor, the tranquil SPA de l’Alpaga features a fitness room with the latest equipment, hammam, leisure plunge pool with massage jets and a bubble couch and three treatment cabins. Outside, guests can enjoy the Scandinavian hot tub, wood-fired sauna and a new outdoor heated swimming pool (opened in 2024) in the gardens overlooking glorious Mont-Blanc.

The stunning mountain scenery lends itself to a plethora of genuine Alpine experiences for guests to partake in – from mountain biking, canyoning down the crystal-clear streams of Belle du Bois, trail running, wild herb picking and horse-drawn carriage rides in the village to panoramic hiking along the paths of Mont d’Arbois, climbing, paragliding and hot air ballooning. The hotel can arrange electric bikes for cycling tours and picnics, and every summer, an outdoor cinema is set up beneath the stars.
