Why Stay Here?
The Elysium is situated on the beach in the historical heartland of the ancient city of Paphos, next to the historical site of the Tombs of the Kings, with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea. All its luxurious rooms and suites feature a balcony or terrace. The hotel is currently closed for the winter season and will reopen on 4th March 2021.
Its astonishing architecture and décor run throughout the hotel. Every design detail is an example of artistic and insightful craftsmanship, with stone, marble, and timber features incorporated into the décor. Decorative features such as mosaics, arches and columns create a feeling of tradition in a peaceful and secluded environment. Its private gardens are embellished with water features, multi-level pools, an amphitheatre and its own sandy cove, evoking a sense of wellbeing and indulgence.
Elysium offers a supreme collection of gourmet eateries, which use local produce including vegetables from the hotel’s garden. Lemonia Piazza, seaside Mediterraneo Tavern, Epicurean Restaurant, Ristorante Bacco and O’Shin showcase a variety of cuisines, including Italian, Japanese, and Cypriot. Outdoor pergola-covered terraces set the bar scene alongside live music performances, and a newly refurbished chic café is the place to experience afternoon tea, as well as evening cocktails.
A highlight is the sumptuously stylish wellness centre offering ESPA beauty treatments, an indoor pool, a high-tech gym and studio classes. Within the grounds are multi-level pools with hydro-massage, tennis courts and a children’s play area. Scuba diving courses for all levels are also on offer.
Three halls are available for conferences and events, and a byzantine-style chapel is available on site for weddings. The Orpheus amphitheatre stages live cultural performances with stunning views of the Mediterranean in the backdrop.
