- Launch the newly renovated hotel as the best new luxury accommodation in New York for young professionals, seasoned business travellers, solo leisure travellers and families
- Create an event to introduce the hotel to the UK media
Strategy
- Mason Rose brought the hotel’s famous Loews “Power Breakfast” to London. A New York institution since 1975, many of the most powerful professionals in New York City breakfast there regularly
- Selected the Hélène Darroze room at The Connaught for exclusive use and, via our contacts, were able to secure a room rarely privatised in this way
- Worked closely with the team at The Connaught to recreate the original ‘Power Breakfast’ menu
- Invited exceptionally influential individuals living in and around London, including senior media, high-net-worth individuals, prominent company CEOs, key figures in the entertainment industry and politicians
Results
- Immediate event coverage and copy on Tatler, GQ and the Gentleman’s Journal
- A resulting profile piece on owner John Tisch and a full-page article on the renovation in TTG Luxury
- Total of 47 press clippings and total circulation of 163,345,585
