Ca’ di Dio, part of the VRetreats Collection, is a hidden boutique retreat situated in the heart of Venice at the entrance of the city’s contemporary art district, Arsenale, where the famous Art Biennale is held. Newly opened in August 2021, the hotel seamlessly blends its luxuriously contemporary interiors – rich in hand-made details from local artisans – with the restored historical features of the building, parts of which date back to 1272. What was once an ancient church is now the hotel’s welcoming lobby area, which leads to a main courtyard. Ca’ di Dio has been listed as one of the best new hotels in the world in Conde Nast Traveller’s 2022 Hot List.
